Riley was excited to show her little baby. Well not such a baby anymore... but he will always be a baby in her heart. Ever since he was a baby, Riley loved to be around this fun loving boy. He was more of a gelding than a stallion, perfect for her!

She tacked him up in his show tack, making sure to brush off any dirt before it was her turn. She combed through his fluffy mane one last time and headed out into the hot Florida sun to show. Taz chewed on his bit and pricked his ears towards all of the commotion. He seemed curious as to why all of these horses were here, after all, it was his first show! Riley scratched his neck as if to tell him-Don't worry! Everything is going to be fine.

Riley found the nearest mounting block and hopped on. The little stallion walked forward, as always. That was a good sign, he feels normal and calm at the show grounds- unlike his mom...- She rolled her eyes at the thought of her hyper mare.

Their names were called and Riley trotted up to the arena, gently holding Taz back from going too fast. They circled a few times and then they were off! The jumps were a little small for Taz and he flew over them easily! When they were done, both drenched in sweat, they existed the arena with a round of applause. Clear round AND the fastest time so far? She hugged her sweaty stallion, not caring for her show clothes.

All the hard work payed off!
