Personality


Big beautiful lover boy! He is a very sweet horse and loves to be pet. Constantly has his head out of his stall door to get attention and when he does, he usually falls asleep while getting pet. He is known to fall asleep anywhere and we mean anywhere. He has fallen asleep at shows, during lessons, and anywhere else you can possibly think of. He gets along well with horses and never causes a fight making him a very lovable horse.

Eats like a beast! Since he is so big and muscular, he is constantly looking for food. He gets 2 pads of hay and 2 scoops of grain and he's still hungry! We are very thankful that the food goes to his muscles and not to his stomach.

Not a very fast learner so he needs to be taught the same thing several times. But once he masters it, he becomes a pro! Once he becomes good at a dressage move, he is anxious and ready to go to the shows. He needs a good amount of leg and a rider with strong arms because if you don't use enough rein to turn him, he will run you right into the fence.

Lance is very used to his surroundings so when something is there that wasn't before, he isn't too fond of it. He tends to be a little jumpy in new places but once he gets used to them, he acts like he's been there all his life.
