"Our first Lauderdale today is a beautiful blanket bay! Wow, look at that butt ladies and gentlemen, that's not something you see everyday! And look at the way he holds himself, absolutely stunning! Anyone like to take him home?"

    History: King is a wild one. He was originally bred in a family owned farm that prided itself in raising horses with amazing color. What they didn't know was that all of the horses they had passed down the worst traits possible. The foals were nasty and bit someone whenever they could. But King was the worst of them all. His nasty attitude made him unridable, nobody could get close enough to him except the only person he trusted. They tried to break him but it was near impossible. The only way this horse could be tamed is with the right person using the right methods.
    Personality: King has a nasty attitude. He is usually seen with his ears back and a mean look on his face. Forget being turned out with other horses. He has been known to bond with only one person and that one person is the only one who can handle him. This horse is definitely a challenge!

    History: Cosette was born and raised to be a dressage star. She had been training all of her life to be exactly like her parents, famous Lauderdale dressage stars. She showed potential at a very young age, prancing around gracefully. Once the barn she was at couldn't afford any more horses, she was sold off to a family who didn't even know what dressage was. She then became a laid back trail horse, but not forgetting her training. The family thought that she would be better off with someone who would use her to her fullest potential so they sold her to our facility. Our staff is still working on getting her back in shape so she can be the dressage horse that she wants to be.
    Personality: Cosette is a very dainty little mare. She is very elegant and carries herself well. She absolutely adores other horses and people and loves the attention from them! Although she has forgotten some of her training, the staff is pleased with how far she has come. She is willing to learn and loves being ridden. She tries to please but sometimes gets frustrated with herself and throws what the staff calls a "Cosette tantrum" where she throws her head up, snorts, and paws at the ground. She has to have prominent signals while riding so she doesn't throw a tantrum and so she is clear about what to do.

"Up next is our third horse of the day, a beautiful mare! Look at the color on her, just stunning! You cannot take your eyes off of her that's for sure. Anybody interested in buying this lovely lady?"

    History: Brandy was raised and trained by the best of the best. She was a fast learner so she picked up on different disciplines quickly. Her fast gait and graceful movement made her very flexible in any discipline. The staff at the facility absolutely adored her for her color and amazing gaits. She was then sold to a family who prided themselves in material possessions. The youngest daughter owned this mare and she was not a very good rider. When Brandy didn't do what she wanted, she would beat the mare. Brandy soon learned to be terrified of whips and the little girl. The family hired a trainer to whip her into shape but the trainer only made matters worse by hitting her. The family soon gave up and sold her to our facility.
    Personality: Brandy is a preppy little horse. She loves the attention of other horses and is very easy to get along with. But the minute she sees a crop or spurs, she freaks out. She definitely doesn't need the extra tools but just the sight of them makes her uneasy. Undersaddle she is a dream, very smooth when she needs to be and very fast when you ask her to go. She is willing to learn but has slight trust issues so it might take a while before she becomes your friend.

    Pedigree: Starter X Starter
    History: Comanche was raised at a racing stable. The owner of the horses loved the grace and beauty of a horse as it galloped so the horses were often quick on their feet. If a horse wasn't to the owners standards, he would be sold off. Comanche was born to the only Lauderdale in the barn but one of the fastest mares and the most gorgeous stallion from another barn. At a young age, they raced him around the arena with his mother, just to see where he was speed wise. He was just .5 seconds under the desired time so he was sold off after training. Although he was just .5 seconds shy, that was still incredibly fast compared to a normal horse. Comanche went to a trainer who had more then enough horses. He was used as a lesson horse but definitely did not have the temperament for it. He would usually take off with riders on him and run around the ring until they fell off. The trainer gave up and sold him to our facilities where he is getting the proper training.
    Personality: Comanche is extremely hyper active. He loves to run around in the pasture with other horses and he often beats them. In the ring, he gets worked up so he often has to be lunged 3 times in a ride. He flies over jumps like no problem so height isn't a problem but keeping him in control is. This is not a lesson horse and needs an experienced rider!

    Dislikes: Standing still, being alone
